In January 2017, I helped organize a laptop orchestra as part of MIT's Independent Activities period. The 4 week program consisted of lectures on computer music, exploratory patching circles, and group rehearsals, culminating in a final performance at Killian Hall. Along the way, we designed new electronic instruments using a variety of interaction technologies. We also built a set of hemispherical loudspeakers similar in design to the ones used by SLork.

The course was sponsored in part by LeafLabs; a blog post with more information can be found here.
